Iowa Wheelmen meet, 1887

A report on the Iowa Wheelmen club meet in 1887. Twenty-five riders were members of the club, and the national meet they attended in St. Louis comprised nearly 600 riders. Club affiliation was an important element of cycling culture in the 1880s, but it became much less important in the 1890s.
